It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie George of East Liverpool, Ohio, who passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Franklin DeLong, Sr. and Lillie May Kummer DeLong; her husband Carl E. "Sonny" George; her daughter Mary Ellen George; her grandson Brian Lee George; and her siblings, Pearl Bowen, Earl DeLong, Dean "Bud" DeLong, Larry DeLong and Herman DeLong.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Allen George (Brenda) of Chester, Daniel Wayne George (Pamela) of Reynoldsburg, Timothy Dale George (Kelly) of East Liverpool and Thomas Lee George (Barbara) of East Liverpool. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
