He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Newlen and Gertrude Newlen (Rickard); his daughter Tyra Newlen; his sister Linda Burson; and his nephew Duncan Yetman.
He is survived by: his wife Victoria Ann "Vickie" Newlen; his niece Pam Curran (Mike); his great-nieces, Casey Walton Ward (Bruce) and Danielle Deal; his friend Ray Sullivan (Nina); his sisters-in-law, Diana Tenorio (Tony) and JoAnn Clark; his nieces, Jessica Yetman and Lisa Clark; his nephew Nicholas Yetman (Brianna); and also Parker.
