She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth "Tootsie" Cain (Dugan) and Franklin Haught; her sister Rosie Williams; her nephew Jeffery Dennis; and her stepfather Detmer Cain.
She is survived by: her husband Matt Stipec; her children, Matt Stipec III (Rhonda) of New Manchester, WV, Tim Stipec (Kim) of Chester, WV and Suzanne Hoppel (Brandon) of East Liverpool; her brother Charles Henderson (Becky); her grandchildren, Eric Stipec (Nikki), Craig Stipec (Brianna), Matthew Stipec IV, Jacob Stipec (Taylor Allison), Megan Stipec (Luke McMaster), Vince Hoppel and Nick Hoppel; her great grandchildren, Tucker, Lyra and Grant Stipec; her nephews, Mike Dennis (Lisa), Charles "Gus" Henderson (Amanda) and Clayton Henderson (Kerri); and her niece Karie Bishop (John).
Karen's family would like to extend a special thank you to Susie and all the nurses, aides, and staff at St. Mary's Alzheimer's Care Center who blessed her with the most loving care and compassion.
