He is survived by: his son Shane Hovis (Janice) of Plain City, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Lindsey Webb (Matthew), Shane Hovis, Jr. (Natalie), Kalley Sollick (Blaine), Joshua Hendricks (Sierra), Aubrey Schoolcraft and Colton Schoolcraft; his great grandchildren, Blaine Sollick Jr. and Holden Sollick; his close friend Carol Hovis; and his pet Kali.
