He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Iva; and his siblings, James, Freda, Cora, Grace, Elsie (Elaine), Sadie, Brady, Esta, John, Steven and Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his son Joe (Karen); his grandsons, John (Suzanne) and Mike; his great grandchildren, Katlyn (Jimmy), Michael, Jojo, Morgan (TJ), Ethan and Jude Mercer; and his great great grandchildren, Mikaela, Emma, Alice, Colson and Bryson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
