Donna Jean McVay Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Jean McVay (East Liverpool, Ohio), who passed away on June 6, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Smith and Mable Smith (Brittain); her husband Robert L. McVay; her son Gary R. McVay; her siblings, Pauline Pickering, Harry Smith and Warren Smith; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Smith and Mary Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Garland (Gary) of Poland, OH and David McVay (Christine) of Loveland, OH; her grandsons, James Garland (Amy), Michael Garland (Amy), Adam McVay (Connie), Timothy McVay (Laura), Stephen McVay (Jennifer) and Robert McVay (Emily); her siblings, Wilson Smith, Robert Smith (Kay), Betty Opiela, Dorothy Reynolds (Norman) and Marilyn Stambaugh (Dan); and her close friends, Michael "Mick", Carol, Alan Bowler and Natalie Taylor. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
