He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Channels and Phoebe Channels (Rose); his wife Carolyn R. Channels (Sadler); and his brother Lawrence Channels. He is survived by: his children, Diane K. Clarke and Kenneth C. "Kenny" Channels (Diana); his grandchildren, Summer Kaltenbach (Dave Hundorfean), Brock Kaltenbach, Isaac Kaltenbach (Aimee) of Taylor Saunders, D. J, Hawk (Julie) and Dustin Channels (Lori); and his sister Mary Alford (Anne Conkle). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
