He is survived by: his wife Karen Brereton (Wolfe); his children, Charles "Denny" Brereton III (Julie), John Brereton (Jennifer), Patty Vantilburg (Robert), Lori Allmon (Jeff) and Andrea Cooper (Robert); his grandchildren, Emily Brereton, Meghan Brereton, Anthony Vantilburg (Natalie), Ashley Reynolds (Kade), Amanda Venham (Grant), Stephanie Allmon, Payne Brereton, Hadley Brereton, Alyson Cooper and Abagail Cooper; his great grandchildren, Braedyn Brereton, Elijah Venham, Grayson Vantilburg, Jaxon Brereton and Murphy Gegas; his sister Betsy Chaney (James); and his brother-in-law Philip Pridmore.
