She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert K. Sayre and Carrie Roush Sayre; her siblings, Harold Sayre, Arvesta Whealdon, Charles Sayre, Margaret Lauhon, Susan Evans and Evelyn Gamble; and her husband Kenneth R. Baxter.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Ayres (Thomas) of Southampton, NY, Martha Elwood (Dean) of Chattanooga, TN, Marian Henderson (late Joey) of North Canton, OH and Kenneth Baxter Jr. of Dalton, GA.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Evangelical Presbyterian Church .
