He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Veglia and Hazel McDole Veglia; his wife Thelma Calhoun Veglia; his granddaughter Brittany Stadnick; his siblings, Janet Veglia and Eugene Veglia; his children-in-law, Tina Veglia and Lewis Andric; and his brother-in-law Richard Manypenny.

He is survived by: his daughters, Darlene Bittinger (Paul) of East Liverpool, Diane Stadnik (Duane) of West Virginia, Deborah Cramer of East Liverpool, Doris Davis (Rick) of East Liverpool, Dawn Smith (Orlen) of East Liverpool and DeAnna Danver (Thomas Carouthers) of East Liverpool; his grandson Bernard "Bud" Veglia (Diana) of Salem; and his son Bryan Veglia of East Liverpool. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.
