He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Sharp, and Elsie Sharp, Sr. (Martindale); his granddaughters, Lauren and KateLynn Hurley; his brother David Sharp; his niece Phebe Mathews; and his nephew Owen Lucio-Patrick.
He is survived by: his children, Ernest Sharp, III (Chantel) of Bellefontaine and Kristin Hurley (Dan) of Huntsville; his grandchildren, KayLee, Tanner and Vance Hurley; his former wife Kim Sharp of East Liberty; and his siblings, Connie Baughman of East Liberty, Bonnie Brose (John) of East Liberty, April McCreary of East Liberty, Susie McCoy (Bruce) of Bellefontaine, Paula Mathys (Morgan) of Raymond and Ronnie Sharp (Christina) of East Liberty. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
