He is survived by: his parent Gene Neil; his stepfather Joe Smith; his children, Elizabeth Monroe (Aaron) of Richwood, Kristen Van Way (Lucas) of Richwood, Joseph Neil of East Liberty and Andy Griffith; his mother Sharon Smith; his siblings, Robin Westfall (Bill) of Mechanicsburg and John Smith (Christy) of Middleburg; and also Ellen DeGeneris.
