She is survived by: her husband Elbert Lawrence of Pittsburgh; her children, Ida "Connie" Grayson of Cleveland, Ohio, Adele Heard (Bryan) of Cleveland, Ohio and Lawrence Whittemore (Chasity) of Kenosha, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, David A. Grayson, Jr., Camille Heard, Nikiya Edmond and Fred Whittemore; her great grandchildren, Davona Sanders (Jeremiah), Dezire and David Grayson III; her great great grandchild Daviona Gordon; and her cousin Clarion Dixon. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
