She was predeceased by: her parents, David C. Burt and Julia Jemison Burt; her daughter Barbara Burt; and her brothers, Arden, David Jr., Willie and Charlie Burt.
She is survived by: her sisters, Maxine Duncan, Margie Adams and Channie Tolbert; her nieces and nephews, Gregory Adams, David Adams, Dexter Tolbert, Eddie Burt, Sharon Payne and Linda Burt; and her close friends, Tiola Story and Rhonda Fletcher. She is also survived by grandnephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
