He was predeceased by: his parent Bishop Hubert Otis Latta; and his sister Elnora Marie Pratt Latta. He is survived by: his siblings, Alphonso A. Latta and Nancy Marie Latta; his wife Sylvia Elizabeth Avery; his daughter Teri Elizabeth Latta (Kenny); his grandson Kenneth Russell, Jr.; his nieces, Jacqueline Sims (Charles), Ebony Sims, Tiffany Sims and Charita Mariner; and his brother Willie Walker.
