She was predeceased by: her siblings, Winifred Elam, James Dean and David Dean; and her daughter-in-law Martha Varian (Rose). She is survived by: her children, Grant Varian (Cheryl) of Bellefontaine, Dean Varian (Ruth), Reed, Beth and Hope; her grandchildren, Sean Varian (Julie) of Etna, Krista Allenstein (Charles) of Elm Grove, Kenneth Varian (Melinda) of Macedonia, Mark Varian (Shannon) of Louisville, Cliff Varian (Megan) of East Canton, Scott Varian (Samantha) of Canton, Aaron Schluep, Kelly Mosbacher of Charleston, S. C., Beau Schluep (Annie) of Cuyahoga Falls, Sarah Schluep of New York City, Liesl Renaud (Blake) of Chicago and Colin Bittner of Columbus; her sisters, Barbara Warner of Ithaca, N. Y. and Janice Crittenden (Gary) of Elgin; and her siblings-in-law, Vic Varian of East Canton, Joanne Varian of East Canton and June Snyder of Elyria. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
