James L. Harsh Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James L. Harsh of East Canton, Ohio, born in Louisville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 16, 2024 at the age of 95. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Harsh and Ida Harsh (Ritschard); his wife Martha L Harsh; his siblings, Lionel "Bud" Harsh, Ann Harsh, Lois Elliott and Joy Pike; and his son-in-law Sam Sherrard.
He is survived by: his children, James L. Harsh Jr. (Kathy), Pamela Marzec (Mike), Faye Sherrard and Theresa Weekly; his stepdaughter Betty Ann Barr; and his siblings, Gene Harsh, Lila Snyder and Tina Herstine. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in James's honor to either the American Legion Post #667 at 224 S Wood St N, East Canton, OH 44730 or Akron Children's Hospital at Akron Children's Foundation, One Perkins Square, Akron, OH 44308.
