George J. Vrabec Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George J. Vrabec Sr. of East Canton, Ohio, born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy Vrabec (Rollins) and Joseph Vrabec; his stepfather Lonnie Nazelrod; his wife Pam; and his siblings, Paul and Ann.
He is survived by: his sisters, Helen, Susan Kisamore and Jean Vrabec; his mother-in-law Becky McQuiston; his children, George "Jay" Vrabec Jr. (Karen) and Georgia Headley (Keith); his grandchildren, Rachel Erickson (Keith), George "Joe" Vrabec III (Jamin), Allyson Headley, Ian Headley (Haley), Gabe Jones and Gillian Jones; and his great grandchildren, Mason Joseph, Emma Headley and Kasen Vrabec. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews; and countless family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Refuge of Hope or the MAPS Air Museum.
