She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick Kortis and Beulah Kortis (Fisher); her husband Al Maier; her siblings, John Kortis, Jim Kortis and Nancy Gates; her former husband Dick Parris; her stepchildren, Diane Forsyth and David Maier; and her niece Beth Ann Kortis.
She is survived by: her stepson Tim Maier (Denise); and her son-in-law James Forsyth. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 11 nieces and nephews, 23 great nieces and nephews and 15 great-great nieces and nephews along with countless friends.
