With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty J. Hahn of East Canton, Ohio, born in Canton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2024 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren McGaughey and Dora McGaughey (Shearer); her husband Bennett Elmer Hahn; and her siblings, Richard, Don McGaughey, Arlene McGaughey and Marilyn O'Malley.
She is survived by: her sons, David (Beth) and Rev. Douglass Hahn (Joanne). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
