He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanford Evans and Lois M. Barringer (Dendinger); and his brother Timothy Evans. He is survived by: his wife Christina Evans (Aurand); his children, Mackenzie Johnson (Evan), Spencer Evans and Sophia Evans; his stepchildren, Taylor Chase (Gary), Caleb Wentz, Brandon and Dylan Hoop; his grandchildren, Paislee and Hudson; his siblings, Jodi Beckley (David), Lt. Colonel Michael Evans (Nicky) and Robert Evans (Shannon); his stepfather Dan Barringer; and his stepsisters, Amy Sleasman (Rich) and Melissa Eagon (Jason).
Memorial contributions can be made to the Hardin Northern Athletic Department for the benefit of the Track Team.
