He was predeceased by: his father Robert Nichols; his sister Susan Coburn (Nichols); and his half-brother Roger Hatch. He is survived by: his children, Tim Nichols (Lori) of Findlay and Kim Gerding (Roger) of Ada; his grandchildren, Jacob Nichols, Elijah Nichols, Abigail Gerding and Alison Gerding; and his brother Terry Nichols of Dayton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
