He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Elwood and Ethel Elwood (Kimble); and his siblings, John Elwood, Donald Elwood, Russell Elwood, Lloyd Elwood, Marvel Wilkins and Ruth Isabelle Kohli.
He is survived by: his wife Doris (Hiller); his children, Michael Elwood (Missy Sanders), Mary (Bill Hohler), Robert (Jobie Elwood) and Jane (George Fletcher); his grandchildren, Lindie Hohler, Brad Hohler (Molly Nagy), Maggie Dory (Will) and Shelby Ervin (Alex); his great grandchildren, Quinn, Josie and Lily; and his sister Hazel Rodabaugh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
