He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marie O. Wright (Nichols) and Willie Nichols; his children, Jason Benton (Tonya) of Bellefontaine, Stephanie McCoy (Matt) of Dunkirk and Josh Benton of Findlay; his stepchildren, Connor English of New York and Christine Santos of Connecticut; and his brothers, Paul Nichols (Lynn) of Ada, Mark Nichols (Deb) of Findlay, Greg Nichols of Carrollton, GA and Steve Nichols (Gina) of Springfield, VA.. He was also cherished by sixteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
