It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Smith (Dundee, Ohio), born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on April 11, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Swan Hofflander and Siri Johansson Hofflander; her son Dennis Smith; and her sister Sonja Hofflander. She is survived by: her sons, Barry Smith (Emily) of Greencove Springs, Dave Smith (Diane) of Highland Heights and Randy Smith (Lillie) of Columbia; her grandchildren, Derek, Dena, Danielle Smith, Kirsten and Cameron Smith; her great grandchild Saylor; and her siblings, Gladys Babich of Lake Bluff and Arnold Hofflander of Fernandina Beach.
