With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eli J. Wengerd of Dundee, Ohio, born in Wayne, Ohio, who passed away on March 26, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob J. Wengerd and Jemima Wengerd (Wengerd); his sister Katie Ann Troyer; and his brothers-in-law, Leon Shrock, Ivan Troyer and Jay Lehman.
He is survived by: his children, Phil Wengerd (Kathy) of Strasburg, Marlin Wengerd (Darlene) of Easley, SC, Myron Wengerd (Veronica) of Winthrop, WA, Loren Wengerd (Amanda) of Kirkland, WA, Doran Wengerd (Melissa) of Dundee and Sheri Miller (Ron) of Sugarcreek; and his sisters, Emma Lehman of Kidron, Ada Mast (Crist) of Plain City and Edna Turner (Logan) of Dalton. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
