With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane G. Immel of Dundee, Ohio, who passed away on September 24, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Immel and Florence Immel (Deetz); and his pet Zeke. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Connie Ray (Bill), Janine Flood (Mike), Lynne Johnson (Matt), Laura Sulzener (Sam) and Todd Immel; his siblings, Stanley Immel (Pauline) and Margaret Cugliari; his sister-in-law Becky Immel; his grandchildren, Sarah Bell (Ray), Nathan Ray (Melissa), Stephanie Flood (Zach Grubb), Jason Flood, Whitney Kaufman (Jeff), Kate Johnson (Cory Miller), Amy Raber (Andie), Savannah Sulzener, Jackson Sulzener and Alexander Immel; and his great grandchildren, Alaina, Cora, Tessa Bell, Raine, Cyrus, Eve Kaufman, Alice, Addison Raber, Sullivan, Lylah, Sawyer Ray and Braelyn Sulzener.
Public calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5-7 PM at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with facial masks being required and social distancing being observed.
