She was predeceased by: her parents, Brennie L. Carson and Irene Carson (Cain); her son Steven C. Coen; her siblings, Wanda Edwards (James), Dave Carson, William "Bill" Carson and John Carson; and her son-in-law Greg McClellan.

She is survived by: her children, Peggy Blakely (Thomas), Diane Bonifant (Rick) and Russ Coen (Melody). She is also survived by her nine grandchildren; her twelve great grandchildren; and her four great-great grandchildren.
