He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Trout and Virginia Trout (Moore); his brothers, Vernon (Evelyn), Richard and Keith; his son Jeff Trout; and his granddaughter Kathryn Trout.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Trout (Janusz); his children, Melanie Luck (Trout) and James Trout (Tracy Greenwalt); his grandchildren, Dylan Barnes-Trout, Nicholas, Callie, Cecylia, Sadie, Luckenbach and Avryl Trout; and his sister-in-law Wava Trout.
He served on the Board of Directors and was past president of the Muskingum County unit of the American Cancer Society.
