She was predeceased by: her husband Archie; and her son David. She is survived by: her friend Linda Talbert; her siblings, Clara Garrett, Ruby Taylor, Margaret Wheeler, Mary Baker, Gladys Murphy and Carl Jones; her child Diane Thorla-Handy (Glenn Handy); and her granddaughter Michala Handy of Granville.
