He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Nicol and Emma Nicol (Starr); his brothers, Elton and Leon; his son-in-law David Baker; his stepfather Oscar Scheiderer; his sisters-in-law, Marcella Dellinger and Mary Ann Nicol; and his stepbrother Richard Scheiderer.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Dellinger; his children, Mark Nicol (Colleen) of North Lewisburg, Janet Baker of Fort Wayne and Keith Nicol (Chris) of Westerville; his grandson Tristan Nicol; his brother-in-law John Dellinger (Annetta); and his stepsisters, Patty Blinn (Larry) and Cathy Picklesimer (Dave). He is also survived by niece and three nephews.
In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to consider a memorial contribution in Nick's name be made to St. John Lutheran Church Building Fund.
