He is survived by: his parents, Jerome Lawson and Martha Lawson; his children, Ashley Layendecker of Nashville, Cole of Columbus, Baylee of Columbus, Avery of Columbus and Baker Lawson of Columbus; and his sister Sarah O'Neal (Mike) of Campbellsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
