He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Stone and Dessie Stone (Flauhaus). He is survived by: his sons, David J. Stone (Jeri) and Richard R Stone (Carol); his granddaughters, Sierra J Stone (Joe Giles-Harris) and Tamara C Stone; his great grandchild Blaize Harris; and his brother James Stone.
