We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2018, at the age of 80, Richard M. Thatcher (Dublin, Ohio), born in Dayton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Thatcher and Bertha Thatcher; his parent-in-law William; his sisters-in-law, Denise Dotson and Donna Baldt; and his granddaughter Sarah Ruth Butler.
He is survived by: his wife Diane (Dotson); his children, Barbara Butler (Randy) and Greg Thatcher (Janet); his brother Jim Thatcher (Beth); his grandchildren, Amanda Hartman (Todd), Whitney Nickerson (Corey), Joshua Butler (Emilie), Kevin Butler (Morgan), Mary Kate Thatcher, Samuel Thatcher and Joseph Thatcher; his great grandchildren, Westin Hartman, Landen Hartman, Mayah Butler, Everly Nickerson and Jinora Butler; and his sisters-in-law, Bill Dotson (Cindy), Jim Dotson (Beth), Tom Baldt, John Dotson (Gina) and Dorothy Moser (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
