With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard David Putnam (Dublin, Ohio), born in Northampton, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2024 at the age of 95. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin E. Putnam and Mary G. Putnam (Connelly); his wife Virginia Ann Childs; his son Richard D. Putnam, Jr.; and his brother Robert E. Putnam.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Grinch (Dean), Carol Truini (Mark) and Michael Putnam (Theresa); his daughter-in-law Debra Putnam; his grandchildren, Stuart, Virginia Grinch, Michael Putnam (Abigail), Ryan Truini (Tovah), Chad Truini (Jackie), Ashley Hofacre (Matthew) and Rachel Putnam; and his great grandchildren, Livia, Gabrielle Truini, Theodore, Lorelei Putnam, Rory and Nora Truini. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and English cousins.
