It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maxwell Stanley Jenis of Dublin, Ohio, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 23, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Christopher Robert Jenis and Kristi Alexis Evans; his grandparents, Dr. Edwin, Georgia Jenis, Stuart, Bonita Mann, Todd and Leslie Evans; his aunts and uncles, Dr. Andrew Jenis (Victoria), Robin Bigby and Mark Evans; and his cousins, Cassandra Jenis, Jacob Bigby-Kinzalow (Alan), Ryan Bigby and Ava Pachulski-Evans.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation for care of the Flamingo habitat at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium in Max's honor.

He was so positive and goofy, and his passion for animals shone brightly. He is one of the main reasons I found my love for special education and am currently getting my degree as an intervention specialist. I am so thankful for the time I had with him and all the joy (and high fives) he brought to the world.”
