He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shirley; his parents, John L Garvin and Beula Garvin; his siblings, June, Shirley E. and Robert Garvin; his children, Karen Seich (Lou), John Garvin (Lisa), Jeff Garvin (Karen) and Tami Querry (Dave); his grandchildren, Brandon, Bryan, Jordan Seich, Valerie Bruffey (Trey), Kellie, Mike Garvin, Allie, Matthew Garvin, Evan and Abby Querry; his close friend Baxter; his siblings, Ron Garvin (Rebecca), Phil Garvin, Anita Green and Kathy Garvin; and his sister-in-law Linda Miller (Ralph). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
