He was predeceased by: his wife Alberta L. Swank. He is survived by: his children, Jim Moneysmith and Jayne Moneysmith (Brent Stansen); and his grandsons, Jackson Kulas (Lucy Goss) and Jacob Kulas (Kylie Spillane). He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to All Saints Lutheran Church or to the Ohio FFA Foundation.
