Joan Irene (McHale) Sitko Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Irene Sitko (Cleveland, Ohio and Dublin, Ohio), who passed away on April 6, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Joan lived most of her life in Garfield His., Ohio, moved to Chagrin Falls (Tanglewood) and later to Columbus, Ohio to be near her daughters. Both Joan and her husband were graduates of Holy Name High School (Cleveland, Ohio) as well as four of their children. Joan attended Kent State University.
She was loved and cherished by a large family including : her parents of Irish descent; John McHale and Mary McHale (both deceased); her spouse Richard L. Sitko Sr.(deceased); six children, JoAnn Smith (Lindsay), Mary Beth Wade (Tom), Susan Edwards (Gregory), Richard L. Sitko Jr (Teri), Jennifer Bertolino (Dennis), and Becky Sitko (Christopher Cantlebary) ; Joan's six siblings, Martha Albertson (Willard), John/Jack McHale (Rita), Bonnie Zatko (Lester), Arthur/William McHale (Patricia), Marie Lange (Jack), Ann Gallagher (Hugh J.); Sister-in-law, Alice Sitko Seymour (Douglas Sr.); 14 Grandchildren and spoused and numerous Great Grandchildren.
