She was predeceased by: her grandson Ryan Patrick Neimeister; and her parents, Paul Sweeney and Margaret Sweeney. She is survived by: her husband Richard; her children, Kimberly Gilles (Tom), Kara Neimeister (Dan) and Rick Smith (Tracey); her grandchildren, T. J. Gilles (Lauren Eddingfield), Emily Gilles, Adam Gilles, Sean Neimeister (Madison), Kyle Neimeister, Colin Neimeister, Elizabeth Altizer (Adam Stiff), Dustin Luther, Ashley Baig (Max), Joey Corfios, Nick Smith and Alex Smith; her great grandchildren, Orin, Jamie and Brody; and her sisters, Eileen Patterson and Margaret "Peggy" Sweeney.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary Catholic Church (82 E William St, Delaware, OH 43015).
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to St Jude at http://www.stjude.org or Nationwide Children's Hospital, in her name.
