He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hehmeyer and Freda Hehmeyer. He is survived by: his wife Dana; his children, Michael Hehmeyer, Leslie Hehmeyer (Bill) and Jeffrey Hehmeyer (Carmon); and his grandchildren, Kyle, Kate, Toren, Isaac, Courtney, Daniel and Lily.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Worthington United Methodist Church: memorial garden or community relief funds.
