With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl F Monnin of Dublin, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on June 23, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Monnin and Agnes Monnin (Patricia Monnin); and his sister Beverly Holderman. He is survived by: his children, Mike Monnin (Carol), Marc Monnin (Sue), Marla Vitez (Tom), Dan Monnin (Katy) and Terese Monnin (David); and his siblings, Dan Monnin and Bonnie Monnin. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio: Alzheimer's Association-Central Ohio Chapter, 1379 Dublin Road, Columbus, Ohio 43215.

“I worked with Carl from 1973 to about 1984 at which time our paths part slightly in the launch vehicles organization at LeRC (now GRC). Carl was so very brilliant and dedicated at his work while always smiling and laughing even when things my have gotten a little tense. He was a mentor to me on the technical side of our work and also on how to live a full and spiritual life even in the face of physical obstacles that could have easily made him give up. He never quit at living and loving others.”
