He was predeceased by: his parents, William McBride and Margaret McBride; his granddaughter Megan Schlaegel; and his son Tom. He is survived by: his father-in-law C. R. Cochran; his wife Margaret "Peg" McBride (Cochran); his daughter Lynn Schlaegel (Jerry) of Urbana; his grandchild Chris Schlaegel (Annie); his son Craig McBride (Trudy) of Broomfield; his grandchildren, Ryan McBride (Jackie), Bobby McBride (Lauren) and Lindsay McFarlane (Geoff); his daughter Lori Hudson (Craig) of Dresden; his grandsons, Cole Hudson (Taylor), Wes Hudson and Graham Hudson; and his siblings, Donald McBride (Marsha), Mary Arnold and Bill. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
