He was predeceased by: his parent Robert Damron, Sr.; his sister Tennie Pack of Columbus; and his great grandchild Michael Buzard. He is survived by: his parent Nancy Damron (Hayes); his wife Harriet E. Damron (Lacy); his children, Ben Damron (Peggy) of Dresden and Barbara Damron of Dresden; his grandchildren, Lori Miller (Andy), Stacey Buzard (Doug) and Nic Damron; and his great grandchildren, Shaye Markley (Mitchell) and Hannah Miller.
