He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Lila June Smith Cox; and his siblings, Amber Cox and Jody Edward Cox (Wendall Dreier). He is survived by: his sister-in-law Mary Elaine Cox of Sarahsville; his nephews, James Carl Cox (Beth) of Belpre and Jason Edward Cox (Christopher Morgan) of Sugar Grove; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Dylan, Kaleigh and Mary "Izzy" Cox; his aunt Paula Harsch; and his close friend Julie Link.
