It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Maxine Bates of Dresden, Ohio, born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Marie Zogg (MacDonald) and Frank F. Ladd; her close friend Dale Martin; and her siblings, Mary Chapman, Shirley Catlett, Francis Kelley and Herbert Ladd.
She is survived by: her children, Brooke Roberts of Zanesville, Dighton Daniel Bates Jr. of Dresden and Brea Wade II (Randy) of Dresden; her son-in-law Randy Roberts of Dresden; her grandchildren, Kevin Roberts, Mackenzie Moyer, Randy Wade III, Ian Wade and Preston Eppley; her great grandchildren, Kheenan and Kamaari Brandford; and her sister Anne Leiser (Roy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
