He was predeceased by: his parents, Blake McFarland and Florence McFarland (Lacy); his siblings, Robert McFarland and Sherlie Cordray; and his parents-in-law, Paul and June Robison.

He is survived by: his wife Sue A. McFarland (Robison); his son Steven McFarland; his siblings-in-law, Gene Robison (Ruth) and Carol McKnight (Rick); and his half-sister Lisa Trout (Corky).
