He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Schneider and Kathleen Schneider (Stump); his wife Wanda May Schneider; and his granddaughter Anna May Hubbard. He is survived by: his children, John Schneider of Trinway, Vaughn Schneider (Michelle) of Cambridge, Kevin Schneider (Susie) of Dresden and Elizabeth Hubbard (Adam) of Grovetown, Georgia. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
