He is survived by: his parents, William Robert Kaufmann and Barbara Anne Watkins Kaufmann; his wife Mary Ann Kaufmann; his children, Emily Leora Barker (Tyler) and William Bradley Kaufmann; his granddaughter Quinn Leora Barker; and his brothers, Will Kaufmann (Carol) and Robert Kaufmann. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and also extended family.
