She was predeceased by: her parents, William R. Knopf and Gertrude Knopf (Fleury); her daughter Patricia Hardesty; her brother Bill Knopf; and her brother-in-law Donald Miller.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Lee Hardesty; her children, Joan Hardesty of Tucson, AZ and Joseph "Butch" Hardesty (Tammy) of Delphos, OH; and her sister Jacquelyn Miller of Lima, OH. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
